Quick Service Update from Flash Trash
Our local landfill has opened a new disposal cell with a protective liner that helps protect our community’s aquifer and drinking water.
While this liner is new, the landfill has asked haulers to avoid disposing of materials that could puncture it, including:
• Yard waste
• Metals
• Wood
• Sharp objects
Because of this temporary landfill regulation, these items may occasionally be left behind during collection.
Good news
Flash Trash is preparing a separate yard waste pickup service, plus one-time pickups for seasonal pruning and yard cleanups.
